Here's one from 2007. It was struck by the Royal Canadian Mint in recognition of the International Polar Year; several other countries also commemorated the event with a coin, including Argentina, Denmark, Falkland Islands, France, New Zealand and South Africa - at least 18 countries issued a commemorative coin. The 2007 International Polar Year was sponsored by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the International Council for Science (ICSU). Its purpose was a coordinated research effort in the Arctic and the Antarctic by scientists from 63 countries. Canada's coin depicts multiple Arctic elements, including a bearded Sir Martin Frobisher, an English privateer/explorer who, in 1576, ventured to Canada (his first of three expeditions) in search of mineral riches and the fabled Northwest Passage. In the background of the design is seen Frobisher's ship - the Gabriel.  The official logo on the 2007 International Polar Year:
