Hi guys and gals it's about figuring out what is going on on the reverse in the word America it's not scratches because it's under the word America doesn't seem to be on top of the letters.

Not a Retained Cud. These are called Die Scratches. They are created when the die gets polished down. They usually do this so they can remove Die Clashes.
