Magpiegeorge New Member Australia 6 Posts	Posted 02/02/2019 02:40 am Hi, A long time ago when I was a teenager I collected Australian pre decimal coins, but only ones I got in change. I ceased when decimal was introduced. The photos are of a 1921/22 threepence that I got in change in about 1963. I would appreciate any comments as to its quality and rough idea of value. At the time that I got it I understood that there were only about 32 known samples of this coin. Report this Post to the Staff

I am pretty sure it would not be a fake as it has been in my hot little hands since 1963 and I doubt that fakes were around then. You can see from the damage to it that it had plenty of use in circulation, and as I got it in change it did not come from a seller. Total cost to me was 3 pence!
