I inherited coins when my father passed away. When going through the odd box, I found this quarter wrapped in cotton. Not sure if this should be graded. Please provide recommendations.
Thank you.

Okay. Not sure what that means. Is this common?

to CCF. It is a decent Struck Through Grease but not worth grading.

@SJ61, first welcome to CCF. Second, you could keep this coin wrapped in cotton for protection or else purchase a coin holder, such as the cardboard ones called 2x2s. As you may have read, you should touch the surfaces of this coin nor should you breathe on it (to keep the near pristine condition). Coins with substantial details missing due to grease in the die during striking are worth a premium over face value.

I just bought some flips and put it inside. Should I send it to PCGS for grading?

Once again, no, you will lose money if you send it in to be graded. But you can sell it raw or save it.
