People reporting the coin's prices slowly go up. This is good sign, like in old good days... So, it nice to have coins, that appreciated in time. But remember: after several years the situation will be: in the best case the price will stay near or bit lower than the issue. In the less attractive scenario - the asking price everywhere will be high, but will be no buyers, since people just will move to something else. Keep an eye on the "Donut" coin as well

Currently, they seem to be selling easily for $170ish on ebay.ca with free shipping. Mine (2 of them) just arrived today. I think I'll wait a week or two before listing.

The risk reward ratio heavily favors returning the coin to the mint.
You'd also being doing the mint a favor as they can shore up any weak links in their order processing system.
Win/Win. 100% sure thing.

Also, some of the listings are best offers which mean they are selling below asking price. Considering shipping can be up to $20, you are not making much money after shipping, eBay/PayPal fees. Do the math: $170 - $20 shipping = $150. Cost is $130. After the fees that $20 profit is very small.

These sales are in Poland, where they generally sell for less. This seller put on several auctions at the same time, so, of course, he sabotaged himself.
Buyers in North America are willing to pay at least $165 for this Pysanka coin.
It might be a flop for flippers who don't want to hold long term, but it's clear that these are in demand if Canadian dealers are selling for $165.00 or higher.

Unfortunately, as was calculated in details on the other resource, after initial good start, the coin stopped to increase in the asking price. The private sellers still will be able to return their expenses (recommended not to wait), but no nice profits. So...still not bad RCM release for collectors

Basically it is the European dealers who are keeping a damper on any price increases for the Pysanka. Their sold auction prices are averaging $125. I don't how they can keep selling at a loss. Worse, those European dealers seem to have an endless supply of the Pysanka.

Once these last few cheap ones sell on ebay, the price should skyrocket. /sarc

I sent my extra one back to the mint - no shipping charge, - full list price, - no worries about non-payer.

So just announced to masters club a 4-9 pure gold Pysanka... Shade under 2oz (58.5g) mintage 250 priced at $5K... No paint or GITD or... simply engraved design.
I'm out, not my thing, but wonder if this will garner the interest that the Silver Pysankas generate.

@vonigohcr I saw the coin this morning on the RCM site and it's a very simple design indeed. I'm out as well. You would think with the price of the coin they would make a better case made out of wood instead of the cheap maroon clamshell.

@jimper
It seems to be selling well though, Mint claims 78% sold and not yet in general release. Can't argue about the case... if you are dropping 5K a nice wooden box seems more aligned than the regular clamshell.
