Must be a new series... It is interesting the RCM used an older portrait of the Queen. Thought this would get better exposure here than the bullion section. http://goccf.com/t/272179

Nice find. It's a dealer commissioned exclusive. 15,000 mintage. "Bullion Exchanges, in collaboration with the Royal Canadian Mint, is proud to launch the exclusive "Canada the Great" (CTG) series featuring the most significant Canadian landmarks. "Canada the Great" represents a new approach in mintage design and offers you a tour around Canada - the second largest land and one of the most beautiful places in the world." More numi than bullion at a near bullion price.

Got mine already. No signs of milk spots and it looks beautiful. I expect it to have some numismatic value in the future.

This could be another one in the series, or RCM re-using the 10oz format for variety of commissioned bullion coins 2017 10oz. Tree of Life .9999 Fine Silver Coin http://www.colonialacres.com/produc...n-tax-exemptThey do not look bad, but I wouldn't expect much over the bullion value. Quote: No signs of milk spots and it looks beautiful The RCM bullion coins have a feature to develop "milk spots" with the years. It's like a lottery...some coin will have the spots, some not. This is what I see on my coins over years.

I thought I'd put up the pictures. I like them both, and they are pointing to a potential series in bullion. Compared to the $899 that the mint was asking for Albert Einstein last year, for 10 ounces - granted it was a lot less mintage, but I don't think it deserved a more than so much over bullion (close to 300%)

This is a Bullion Exchanges exclusive and it looks like they only ships to the U.S. - So weird

If anyone is able to get the 10oz Niagara Falls coins and they want to sell one, please PM me.
I really like it and am willing to take the chance of potential milk spots.

I am not sure, that I remember any point on the shore, that the fence will be such low there (some small disproportion of the design to make it more appeal)

Quote: It's a dealer commissioned exclusive. 15,000 mintage. Like all of the other bullion pieces (3/4 ounce, 1.25 & 1.5 ounce, etc.), it won't take long before they're available at an upcoming Canadian coin show. Strange that they would use the Machin portrait. Too bad there wasn't a way to know further in advance or get a glimpse of the others in the series. Guess I'll have to wait and save up!

Quote: Why the Niagara Water falls looks like a "Lovely Couple" valentine theme to me? It's been a honeymoon destination for many years. I have photos of my parents' honeymoon at Niagara Falls, wearing those funny looking black hooded raincoats. That's why I want this coin. Call me a sentimental fool.

Niagara Falls is known as the Honeymoon Capital of the World. "The actual phrase "Honeymoon Capital of the World" didn't start appearing until the early 1900s, and it was often put on promotional posters and brochures. With the opening of the Erie Canal and the building of railways, Niagara Falls suddenly became a lot more accessible to people. With the invention of the automobile in the 20th century, the option of travelling to Niagara Falls was open to even more people. Couples were drawn to Niagara Falls not only because of the mesmerizing waterfall, but also the many lovely and secluded parks and paths that provided for many romantic moments......" http://www.today-magazine.com/culture/1101/

@wildflowerAB Thanks for the great Niagara Falls summary. Was too tired and lazy when I posted, but I knew you'd come through!
