spru Bedrock of the Community United States 12477 Posts	Posted 02/05/2019 04:06 am No, it looks like another cent was either stuck to this one with some unknown gunk (most likely), or another cent made an impression on this one under pressure (vise job). If it is gunk, acetone may remove it, but it's not worth the trouble. It is just a damaged cent.
