I can't find a speck of zinc rot on the thing ...pretty amazing considering the state of it. By All Rights it should have rotted away circulation decades ago. I know a lot of people aren't into this kind of coin because frankly it's pretty ugly looking , but to me it seems rare to find something this impacted bye zinc plating deformation without the rock that normally comes along with it... Cool to see just how wrong things can go!

What I find extremely sad, is the fact that coin collecting is going to loose a half century of Lincoln cents to Zinc rot, and basically the only examples will be those protected now. LMC and LSC minted after 1982 will be a rare find in circulation in 50 years.

I see a monkey or a giraffe. Tough determining which.

Hi John1 and Coinfrog. I'd be happy to send it in if you guys think it's worth it if so where do you recommend? This would be my first submission so I'm pretty out of my element.

Pretty severe example.
(That is one ugly toad, in a zinc sort of way.)
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
