CouchDiver1978 Valued Member United States 386 Posts	Posted 02/05/2019 09:20 am I can't find a speck of zinc rot on the thing ...pretty amazing considering the state of it. By All Rights it should have rotted away circulation decades ago. I know a lot of people aren't into this kind of coin because frankly it's pretty ugly looking , but to me it seems rare to find something this impacted bye zinc plating deformation without the rock that normally comes along with it... Panther Pillar of the Community United States 751 Posts	Posted 02/05/2019 2:08 pm What I find extremely sad, is the fact that coin collecting is going to loose a half century of Lincoln cents to Zinc rot, and basically the only examples will be those protected now.
