luvmyCAM Pillar of the Community United States 1479 Posts	Posted 02/08/2019 11:01 am Thanks all. Its copper and you can barely make out a zero where last digit of date should be. I really like the two memorial partial columns protruding from left neck. Reverse shows strong Mechanical Doubling from stress of strike. When obverse is canted a very ghoulish Abe appears. Glad I found it as was able to verify a 1978 D I posted couple weeks ago is a very late die cap that was buried or something enviornmental. The 78 D has the thimble rim similar to this example.
