I think it is from south America. I can make out part of the word Hispan
It is about 18.2mm, weight is not feasible as it is very warn. But if you must know, it is 2.22gm. Would definitely fall into the LOWBALL category.

My guess would be that it is what's left of a Spanish Colonial 1 real coin. If genuine it would be .903 fine silver and only worth it's silver value.

Oh! it ism real. I got a super batch of coins. In it was also a 1774 2 Reals from Bolivia and an 1820 2 Reals from Guatemala. just to name a couple. :-P

If you are sure the last digit in the date is a 2, then it is a Charles III coin either 1772 or 1782. Charles IV 1792 coins have a different shaped base of the bust.

Charles III 1 real coins were made in at least Mexico, Guatemala, Bolivia, Peru with the same design, so without some details in the legends between 8:30 and 11:00 reverse you probably can't figure out which.

The weight is a bit perplexing, as it is fully 1/3 lower than it should be, and I don't believe even this amount of wear would do that. If the diameter is closer to 18 than 20 mm, maybe it's been clipped, but it still sounds low.
