Looks to be a generic sterling school track medal, bacvk before they started to only give out cheap plastic and junk metal ones. There is a hallmark/makers mark lower middle reverse and what is interesting is the copper bead in the center of the reverse. Here is a link to an online encyclopedia of hallmarks, makers makers world wide.
