I got some sterling gold plated coin looks from Germany or Austria it came from a collection folder anybody knows about this?

It looks like something from the Franklin Mint. Is it stamped on the edge?

It is in German, but it nevertheless was made by the Franklin Mint - you can see their distinctive "broken F" or "FM monogram" mintmark, below the line of German text. So presumably it was made in America for sale to the German-language market in Europe.

As jbuck translated, it commemorates the "invention of the mechanical reaper" in 1831 by Cyrus Hall McCormick; you can read about it on his Wikipedia page. The company which McCormick founded was eventually merged into International Harvester, which issued a medal here in Australia in 1931 for the centenary of the same event.

Another example of the engraver borrowing from another art form:

And that International Harvester bronze medal was issued rather widely, I think (I have one from the collection of a relative).
