I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I have seen this logo before but can't remember what it is. This bronze Medallion is just under 13 oz. and about 98 mm.

Can you provide an image of the reverse? Are there any markings on the edge?

Looks to be fairly high relief from the first picture.

I'd guess that is the designer/medallist's initials above and below the crossed swords.

There were several private companies churning out medals leading up to the American Revolution Bicentennial in 1976.

That's a French hat and it looks like Napoleon. It's almost certainly him. If the back is flat, that's a "table medallion", which is a large one sided medallion intended to be displayed flat on a table.
