1986 d LMC appears to be an S in front of the word TRUST. I'm hoping my Pic picked it up . Looking at the reverse the S is in bad shape . Could it be a clash of sorts?

Plating issue, probably a very small plating bubble.

Well part of what you are seeing there is Ridge Ring ending. The rest stain. The stain is not raised. The ring is. If it were a device, then where are the other devices that should be there? Not an 'S'.
