16+ Pounds Of Great Britain Pennies

Most of it was way out of my wheelhouse including the 16+ pounds of Great Britain Pennies. When I was checking them out at the sale it looked like they were dated from the early 1900's into the 60's. I know these don't have much value in circulated condition. Are there any varities in that date range that are worth looking for? I tried looking online for a variety resource without any luck. Not a full pound, mind you. When I was young my grandparents brought back a bunch of coins from Europe. Those big pennies were my favorites. My ex-wife must have liked them, too. Aside from 2 rolls of silver quarters, the only thing missing from my collection was those pennies. I've always wanted to replace them. Report this Post to the Staff

Then start i.e 1901 the last one in the date to gap. 1902 No varieties of any value in low grade. 1903 Open 3 in date. When you have done those come back and will help you with the next ones. That leaves about 300 that are between 1910 & 1965. Not a single coin from the 50's. Most of the ones dated 1910-1919 are well worn and/or culls. Report this Post to the Staff

pwa 1967 Valued Member United Kingdom 190 Posts	Posted 02/09/2019 7:47 pm Years with Scarce varieties that will have a value in low grade are. 1908 ,1909,1911 and 1922 Anything from the sixties are not worth checking as even the varieties are a bit specialised and dont really carry a premium.
