I bought a coin collection yesterday from a local estate. Most of it was way out of my wheelhouse including the 16+ pounds of Great Britain Pennies. When I was checking them out at the sale it looked like they were dated from the early 1900's into the 60's. I know these don't have much value in circulated condition. Are there any varities in that date range that are worth looking for? I tried looking online for a variety resource without any luck.

I don't know what you plan to do with 161/2 pounds of pennies, but pm me if you'd like to part with some. Not a full pound, mind you.
When I was young my grandparents brought back a bunch of coins from Europe. Those big pennies were my favorites. My ex-wife must have liked them, too. Aside from 2 rolls of silver quarters, the only thing missing from my collection was those pennies. I've always wanted to replace them.

Firstly put them all in tubs for the year.

Then start i.e 1901 the last one in the date to gap.

1902 No varieties of any value in low grade.

1903 Open 3 in date.
When you have done those come back and will help you with the next ones.

I just finished sorting these by date. Over 500 of them were 1967. That leaves about 300 that are between 1910 & 1965. Not a single coin from the 50's. Most of the ones dated 1910-1919 are well worn and/or culls.

The Coin Yearbook 2019 does not quote a value for a 1967 penny even in UNC. Mintage was 654,564,000

Years with Scarce varieties that will have a value in low grade are.

1908 ,1909,1911 and 1922

Anything from the sixties are not worth checking as even the varieties are a bit specialised and dont really carry a premium.
