I have gotten a fair number of Canadian cents while roll searching, many pre-1950. What are the grading standards on these cents? I have about 15 from before 1945.

Hi hockingzig,

Depending on what years you have the grading may be different. Most often the grading is based on the condition on the crown that the king or queen is wearing.

I am sending you a pm with some helpful information

Melissadawn, I have a ton of small cents from 1920, to 2008. Also several large cents, 1900-'20. Can you give me the info re grading them? You may email me at azbrushape@aol.com.

Thanks,
Dick

Freezerburn--that's a site I use too, particularly for the Victoria effigy coins. I find the grading there is a good standard.
