Buy-Of-The-Week

WooHooo...just got this one in a very nice grade.

With a mintage of just 750, most of the unofficial pattern dollar (including the milled edge one I have) is toned.
Rest in Peace

Wow Bryan, She's shure purty! If it's in an old green holder, do you think it's got a chance at 68?

I dont know, I was told with all my other old green labels that I should just be happy with the grade it has because they are so inconsistant right now

My buys of the week were pretty meager but nonetheless exciting for me. [:p]. I purchased a 1948-D and a 1953-D uncirc Roosy's. Was in the special tupperware sale box at the local coin shop. Also got one of those little Whitman check list books so I don't end up with too many copies of the same coin. Unfortunately, to my dismay, V-Nickels were not in it at all, along with a few other types, and so I had to painstakingly put them all on the inside back cover of the little book. I walked out happy with a promise to the proprietor that I would be back 2 weeks posthaste with hopefully more new money to purchase more old money.

250g of pre 1948 Aussie threepence for $50 AUD (about US$37.50). That's about 7.5oz of silver for less than half the melt value.
