Just checked a few of your posts and it seems you want a grade? You need to post in the grading section and include both sides.

Value probably more than grade. The post was moved to the appropriate forum for the proper attention.

Can't give a value without a grade, can't grade without a pic of both sides of the coin.

jbuck, Thank you for moving to the correct forum. I apologize.

I want a value. From collecting other things, I know from experience that pictures of the front and back are very important. When my brother took the pictures, he didn't realize that. If I would have known my brother wanted me to find out the value of the coins before I left, I would have taken the pictures of front and back myself.

With just the one picture of the obverse and no size reference I can't even be sure of the denomination (But I think it is a ten dollar gold piece)

OP..

Sorry about your family's loss. I know it is tough.

All of your coins are worth gold or silver "melt" value at at a minimum. In other words one ounce of gold will be worth somewhere around 1300$/ounce while silver will be worth somewhere around 16$/ounce.

Until we can see quality pictures of both sides of the coins that's the best I can tell you.
