I was watching What's My Line episode from Nov 25th 1956 and their non-celebrity guest was the director of the US mint, so I figured it might be topical to share here:

Interesting to note that even in the 1950s the director of the mint was obscure enough that they would use him as a normal guest with his true name. Also that they forced him to answer yes to working for a non-profit making org when he clearly disagreed and clarified afterwards about seignorage of coin.
I love these old game shows! This one from June 1964 has the Superintendent of the US Mint in Denver (about 11:30 minutes into the clip). After the reveal she talks a bit about how popular the Kennedy halves are.
