llewellin Pillar of the Community United States 1005 Posts	Posted 02/15/2019 5:03 pm I was watching What's My Line episode from Nov 25th 1956 and their non-celebrity guest was the director of the US mint, so I figured it might be topical to share here: npt1X6k-ypI Interesting to note that even in the 1950s the director of the mint was obscure enough that they would use him as a normal guest with his true name. Also that they forced him to answer yes to working for a non-profit making org when he clearly disagreed and clarified afterwards about seignorage of coin. Report this Post to the Staff

This one from June 1964 has the Superintendent of the US Mint in Denver (about 11:30 minutes into the clip).
