As a life long collector of primarily United States coinage I recently found myself captivated by the High relief proof issue of the Wedge-tail eagle, by far the most beautiful of the series. So I have a question. Being that they are sold out and available only on the secondary market, would it be unwise to shell out $199 for an NGC PF70? Not to predict anything, but I see the 2018 selling at over $1100. I'm not looking to profit on the deal, simply looking to add one to my personal collection while the price is reasonable. Which is the question. Thoughts?

It primarily comes down to what you think is best. You could wait till they become avaliable again hoping they go down it price, or pay out the $200 and get one but be wary of price changes.
