Is this the 1936-P Doubled Die Merc listed in the CherryPickers Guide. It seems there is doubling on the 3 and the 6. Opinions? -PP

I must get one of those CherryPickers Guide.
But what I see without a closer shot is normal wear.

Rockdude, if you compare it to other 1936 Mercs in the same grade you will notice this one looks different. -PP

Hi,

The new picture is basically just cropped from the other picture. I would need a larger picture that was larger to begin with as opposed to this one just resized.

We are looking for something that requires a magnified view.

Thanks,
Bill

I hear you Foundinrolls but the coin is on ebay so that it is the only pic I have. I am wondering if it is worth the $8. -PP

I hadn't checked this thread in awhile.

It does not look like the one in the CPG, I am not convinced that it is a doubled die at all by the picture alone but the three and six seem to have some interesting characteristics. Again, that is only based upon that tiny picture.
