PCGS - Despite the facility producing coins throughout much of the 1970's, the W mint mark, grabbing so many headlines lately, did not appear on a coin until the 1984 Olympics Ten Dollar Gold Commemorative (seen here PCGS MS70).

In fact, the West Point Bullion Depository did not become West Point Mint until March 31st, 1988.
