In sure it's already been claimed but was curious if this was the coin PCGS offered the reward for. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***Edited by IgnorantVirtuoso 04/07/2019 05:14 am

Got it in change from a gas station. I got it a couple days ago and just happen to look at it earlier and noticed the W. I'm in Kansas so not sure how they're being distributed but I didnt expect to see any W coins for a while.

Looks like it! I don't think anyone has submitted one yet, so I would jump on that fast! Congratulations as well!

That's it! Send it in while the offer is still good!
The countdown hasn't started on the site yet, so none have been sent in yet!

I did the online submission and will have the coin overnighted first thing in the morning. Anyone know if they pick a coin based on time stamp of the order paid for, or if they pick the first one that arrives on site regardless of submission time? Wouldn't seem fair if someone lived in California and paid for their submission a day after someone else who lived on the opposite coast. Either way I will update in a couple days when I receive either a check for 5k or an email saying better luck next year.

Congratulations.
Not that it matters but it was probably distributed from the Federal Reserve in Kansas City or one of it's branches. Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Denver Branch Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Oklahoma City Branch Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Omaha Branch
Probably depends on which bordering state you might be closest to.

It looks like about 45 min ago the first coin was graded. Mine was there at 10am but I dont think it would have been graded already. Guess I will just have one of the first week labels instead of first discovery and a check.

As I understand the rules, the reward is based on the day of their receipt, not having gone through the grading process. If yours was received today, you might be in (but the $5000 is split among all qualifying submissions received today).
