1937 Lincoln Wheat Cent Doubled Die DDO-004 - Aka WWHO-001

Always a dilemma whether to collect these or not. CONECA lists this coin as DDO-004, so it is a listed variety. But Mr. Wexler seems to have shown all such looking coins to be from a master hub and calls the lot of them WWHO-001.

I grabbed this one because it was in really nice shape, but not sure that down the road it will still be listed as a doubled die. The die marker for DDO-004 is a gouge between the I and N of IN.

Regardless of whether or not they decide to keep the listing it's is a really nice example for that year.

Your coin does not look like the one on Mr. Wexler's site. Perhaps it is not one of the CONECA listings he includes in his " Most of ". Keep it as a DDO-004 as long as it is list as such.
