2014 Lincoln Shield Cent Doubled Die DDO-003

Nice enough coin if you don't mind a stain/toning bit coming down across the date. These things are probably pretty rare, given how easy they are to spot with that big honkin' die chip in the 4, yet there still don't seem to be all that many of them out there.

I have similar troubles photographing these modern cents as I have with proofs. When I looked at the VV listing for this one, it occurred to me that it almost looks like they are using the same lighting for shield cents as they do with proofs. Possible epiphany here.
