1945 D Nickel Very Dark In Color Is This An Error

T-BOP Rest in Peace United States 18456 Posts	Posted 02/20/2019 08:27 am From 1942-1945 the mint produced what we call War Nickels .They had 35% silver added to them . Hence the different color . Side note; not all 1942's were a War Nickel ,some were regular Nickels .Not an error. Report this Post to the Staff
