1960 D Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC Small Date Indirect Design Transfer? Defective Planchet?

Jim0815 Pillar of the Community United States 5240 Posts	Posted 02/20/2019 2:51 pm I have had this 1960 D small date for some time and thought I would post it. Most indirect design transfers that I have seen shows on bottom of the reverses. This is the first one that I have seen where it goes through the top of the reverse through the lettering and can actually see it go through the letter A in STATES. This is raised and not incused. If its not IDT then it may be a defective planchet as it doesn't look like it is not in the right placement from the bottom of the coat on the obverse.
