I found this 1982 D LMC large date copper cent and I am about to try and sell my case as I think this is a new DDO. The only 1982 D LMC that has the same looking devises are for the zinc 1982 D LMC where the devises appear the same for the most part. The doubling on LIBERTY is different but the thing that strikes me is the word WE. The size of the E is not from abrasion or polishing as this would have reduced the size of the devise. I do not believe it is from grease as I have never seen 1/2 of a devise flattened and the devise next to is full. I think this cent has distended doubling. Thoughts?
This looks totally normal for a large date. What are you seeing that I'm not seeing? These large date throw people off many times. Your coin is normal.
