I remember on a post here recently someone made mention of an acid based product that you could drip onto the date area of, let's say, a really worn Buffalo nickel to make it readable again. I have a bunch of worthless Buffalo nickels and a nephew that would love to use that product and put some kind of album together. Thanks in advance.

Can also be done cheaper by just buying some Ferric Chloride and skipping the brand name, or even cheaper by just using vinegar and a little peroxide. NiK-a-date $5 for 1.25 oz, Ferric Chloride $7 for 16 oz, vinegar $1 a quart.

Can't help it, I'm cheap.
