Looking at this for a while, maybe my eye site is going. Just looks a tad thick. Any chance it could be a DD?

I think I've got a shot.
2017-P 1¢ WDDO-003

Description: Moderate extra thickness shows on the letters of LIBERTY with the upper left of the Y considerably thicker than the upper right.
Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: None significant. Obverse Stage B: None significant. Reverse Stage A: A die chip can be found on the top left of the shield north of the first U in PLURIBUS. Reverse Stage B: A die chip can be found on the top left of the shield north of the R in PLURIBUS. A die crack runs SSE from the bottom of the T in CENT to a die chip at the bottom of the shield.

It doesn't match WDDO-003 unfortunately. You have a normal coin.

Wexler has two doubled Master dies listed for 2017. He had to remove about 10 listings because of it. I'm not sure if yours might be one of them.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

The doubling of LIBERTY on WDDO-003 is much, much stronger. I don't see much extra thickness on your coin, at least nothing stronger than the doubled working hubs.

Sometimes I think the shield design was created by an organization of evil optometrists.

You need a chart, at least 60x magnification, and a bottle of excedrin to find the DD's.
