These are so plentiful in high grades that they'll never be worth a lot of money. Paid $29 net of shipping and 10% ebay bucks. Looks golden, but it doesn't seem to be a gold-plated or painted racketeer. Looks like it is just lighting or perhaps golden toning. More likely yellowish lighting. Thoughts on grade and problems? As such, all that I have seen with such nice toning have all been in very high condition. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I can understand why you can be a 'sucker' for such a nice coin. Die cracks make this one more interesting. Perhaps they had problems striking these, and type change conveniently coincided with solution to the die cracking problem, to produce a one year type. It looks blazing white with full luster under normal light, but under an incandescent light it has a smooth golden glow. Further thoughts? Thanks!
