The Coat of Arms is the old colonial arms, which was not used on coins of the Philippines. You can still see the letters "LIPP" from the words "PHILIPPINE ISLANDS" that were on the scroll.
I'm guessing it's a badge, button or medal of some kind.

The composition of the side with eagle/shield/ribbon is like that on the Republic coins of 1936-46. But no date or legends, and the side with the standing figure is not right for any copper coin.
So, agree with Sap it is probably a medal or token ... or undersized copper planchet used for a silver type.

I found on line what appears to be the same coin. they made in the early part of the 1900's. a one peso coin. maybe try searching old copper Pillipine coin pics. you might find your answer there

@nelson, can you provide a link?
One peso coins would not have been in copper as best I can tell, only in silver in first half of 20th century.
I could not find a coin with eagle/shield/ribbon before 1936, which would rule out an early 1900s date, but if you found something earlier, pls help with some more details.

I did not readily find any matching coin. I'm curious about what looks like holes.

I tried that search but the only thing that came up which resembled this was a darkly toned silver peso from 1911. That type lacks the ribbon below the shield (and is silver, not copper).
