I found a 1964 Jefferson nickel with what looks like solder or something on the surface. An interesting observation, what looks like a 6 over the L in PLURIBUS. What can you tell me about this oddity?

the rim is PMD, but those areas on the reverse could be lamination

There is damage on the rim, but I feel the rest is a lamination issue. Note the letters on MONTECELLO? Also on UNITEDyou can still see the ghost images, so there is not damage there. So the peel is now on the upper part of the coin. So the rim damage would reduce value, but it is still a very strong lamination. A keeper.

I am too skeptical about this one. I don't think its an error. I think it's just Post Strike Damage.
