It appears the D is there, but is damaged, there is alot of lamentations? Is that the word? Or die cracks, I'm not sure, what do you think, is this a D?

It's not from Denver. It's from the Philadelphia Mint. You have a normal coin with coin contact marks and scratches from circulation.

It has no mint mark and never did. Also,no lamination.
