I have a 1969 s proof penny and I dont know if it is doubling or Machine Doubling. Trying to put pictures on here is like reinventing the wheel so this is the best I could do .

I agree with Machine Doubling. It has a shelf like appearance and not thickness of the devices.

I was thinking maybe because the strike on proof coins being so crisp a double die on a proof would look like Machine Doubling ?
