This one is slabbed, but I'm wondering whether to send it out for a new grade.

PS: I'll reveal the grade and TPG after everyone has a chance at grading it...

Agree, 63. The TPGs can be tough on Franklins.

Thanks for all the input - I'll leave this up for another day or so then I'll reveal what the TPG said.

Rest in Peace

The coin only shows like 2 small hits ,no scratches .I think it's just a slightly weak strike, not uncommon .

Pics are dark in the critical obverse fields on both sides. Grades are just stabs on this one.

PCI gave this one MS65 FBL... It has a bit of toning which I like, but FBL? Thoughts...?

PS: It came in a bulk lot I picked up some years ago so I got it sight unseen...

A bit generous on the FBL. I don't see it from these pictures. Overall a nice coin. Clean, minor marks. Agree with MS65,

I'm torn on this one - the FBL might be there, the pics don't capture it. The TPG said yes, but...?

Anyway, I'm about ready to sell the coin, I just don't know what to ask - there's a big price jump on higher-grade Franklins, especially if the the FBL holds up... Thoughts?

PS: I love the color on this coin.
Rest in Peace

If it wasn't slabbed and graded by one of the top 3 TPG you might have a problem with a buyer wanting to return this coin only because of it not having FBL's . Your call .

OK, so it's not FBL - I'll be sure to highlight that in my listing. I'll post it for sale on this forum and see what happens. Thanks for all the input!
