1992 D LMC Wide AM Question?

I'm pretty sure this is a Wide AM cent, but I am wondering what the spot is between the A and the M. It looks like a die chip to me. I have tried flattening the spot out, and it didnt, so I'm thinking die chip. I'm just wanting other opinions, please.

All 1992 LMC's are the Wide AM. The rare ones are the 1998-2000 LMC. 1992 LMC's are rare with the Close AM

It is a WAM. The spot between AM might be plating debris.
