Hi Everyone,
I'm new on this forum so hello from Toronto. I found a coin/token on my way to work this morning. I have attached the image to the post. It appear to be in french and commemorates the silver jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. I have search google to see if I could find anything similar but can't. Would anyone on here be able to help with my search for exactly what it is.
Thanks
Gary261073

I looked for several minutes and I couldn't find a single coin or medal commemorating her Silver Jubilee .... kidding. Of the many items I did find, none matched yours. Somewhat intriguing.

The Silver Jubilee was in 1977.

Many numismatic items, both coins and medals, were made to commemorate the event, throughout the British Commonwealth. Many of the medals were privately made and sold as souvenirs at local events held to mark the jubilee. This piece is clearly of Canadian origin, given the French language on one side and English on the other, but other than that I don't think much can be told.
