Sounds fishy. It's not clear if they even have any yet, who knows if any come back PF70, and they sound like it's their special deal with NGC. $99.95 at another website for 2019-S with exact same FDOI label and signature. https://www.NGCcoin.com/coin-gradin...yndall-bass/ "Available from select retailers". Worth another $300 for the W?

Might be a conditional rarity - the two I've seen photos of look pretty bad.

All fictitious item offers. There are ZERO 2019-W cents that have been graded; by NGC or any other third-party-grader.

Also, I'd have to actually see Bass sign my slab to believe it to be real. I was named after Thomas the Apostle, otherwise known as "Doubting Thomas", and I've learned from experience that seeing is believing.

I've waiting to get my two sets in the mail from the Mint, and I'll be happy to just keep them in their intro packets. I've always felt that slabbing is 'over-kill'.

I'm holding on to all my arms and legs, because there are 23 more letters in the alphabet!

Link to CoinWorld article.
https://www.coinworld.com/news/us-c...ums.all.html

From the article. "Johnson said the Mint is in the process of photographing examples of the three West Point cents, but no images were available for release as of Feb. 25."

the article is pretty specific but I'm guessing the designer may have requested coins as payment, like some other artists of coin designs have done?

EDIT: At the bottom of the sellers description he relates his experience dealing with NGC who has an agreement with the designer. May take a month to arrive.
