sel_69l - Thanks for the input! I kind of wondered if the last four were jitals. However, do you have any guesses as to the relative date of issue and the issuer? I know that the Delhi Sultanate issued jitals similar to my pieces.

The first one looks like a bronze stater from Kashmir, attributed to Didda Rani, 979-1003 AD. https://oldindiacoins.wordpress.com...rani-1000ad/Yes, the others are in the style of the Delhi Sultans, and the photos are very good. Weights and diameters would help with identification.

The fourth coin down out of the five is a falus of 40 rati of Bahlul Lodi (1451-1489 AD), Delhi Sultanate, Goron & Goenka D 697. The date of 888 is partially visible at the bottom. It should weigh close to 4.5 g. Weights would help with the other ones.

So, none of the lettering on any of them is Arabic? Except for the first coin, that's what I thought I was mostly seeing.

The third coin is the same type as the fourth, from different dies and with a different date. The date is 86X (the last digit is partially off the flan), where if I had to guess X could be 5.
It's true that many of the coins from shortly after Didda Rani's reign are misattributed to her, so it's good that Palouche dug deeper.
I believe the second through fifth coins are in Arabic.
It appears that coins 2 and 5 have one side with the same writing (again, from different dies).

Seeker55 & Palouche - Thank you very much for the help with these coins. I really appreciate it! I'll keep digging more for coins 2 and 5, and I'll see what I can find.

Found coin 2. It is a posthumus copper falus in the name of Firuz Tughluq, GG D656, date possibly 829 (partly off flan). Should weigh about 4.5 g. These were minted during the reign of Mubarak II, 1421-1434 AD. Haven't been able to match coin 5, but the side on it that matches the side on coin 2 says "Dar-al-Mulk Delhi" or minted in Delhi.

I've looked through GG a couple more times and haven't been able to exactly match coin 5. There are maybe a dozen coins with the same reverse, "Dar al-Mulk Delhi" spanning several rulers. The closest one I found is D539, a falus of 40 rati (4.2 g) of Tughluq II, but it doesn't look like an exact match. Maybe someone who reads Arabic can help.
