I am very new. A relative passed away leaving buckets full of coins that I am trying to sort. This penny shows a "ghost" of memorial on front and "ghost" of Lincoln on back. I took the best picture I could, but I need to improve on that. Is this a keeper?

To CCF! That's called a Die Clash and yes, it's a keeper! It's worthy of a 2x2. http://www.error-ref.com/die_clash/

What a way to start! Congrats!

Don't forget to handle it by grasping the rim of the coin only (to avoid permanent fingerprints). Should probably go grab some cheap paper holders at Hobby Lobby or somewhere to protect your find as well.

to CCF. Sorry for your loss. It is a die clash and worth keeping. I don't see any premium for it though.

Not much premium (if any) for this. More of something people save.

I disagree with everyone else. I sold one in almost the same condition and strenth of clash for $50. A bit under the market value. It does command a premium

You got a windfall. A set of clashed dies tends to be pretty common and they don't bring that much of a premium if any. Sometimes a VERY strong clash will command a premium but that is very unusual.

@Condor, I can see the roof of the memorial on the obverse. It's a good one. It's very uncommon to have a full memorial visable.

When I say a VERY strong clash I'm talking about seeing the lettering out around the rim.
