My very first coin in my collection my dad gave to me 12 years ago. A heavily worn 1900 Morgan dollar. I used to think for years it was simply junk to collectors but some pay a bit for PO-1 grades as supposively its unusually worn. I have it marked at AG-3 but that was 12 years ago when I was a newbie and I didn't see any grade lower than AG on my grading book I had. Does it make the cut for PO-1? I would never sell it though as its priceless to me as its the first coin that started it all. Just curious of what it might be hiding that I didn't see originally.

The date is a bit too crisp for a PR-01. Maybe a FR/PR Slider.

I don't think it is P01 yet, carry it around a few more years.

Haha. No worries, I may carry it around as a pocket piece but I'd fear I'd lose it. Wonder if sticking it in a tumbler filled with crushed shells and letting it sit in those old blue Whitman As albums to regain patina back would be a cheaty way to P0-1. Love those old blue albums, coins tone nicely in there after sitting awhile so I often use them to try and save coins that have been discolored to cleaning. No chemicals needed just a coin and an old Whitman blue album. Slap it in there and once you have your desired look you can 2x2 it.

I agree with FR02. Leave it just the way it is - no tumbler action.

Yep, no tumbler that'll details it. I have a bunch of those blue whitman albums for LWC's and LMC's lying around. I don't use them though. I also have one for IHC's.

Alright lol I prefer it the way it is. My very first coin in my collection. Maybe I'll carry it around in my pocket inside of a empty coin purse. Can't lose it that way lol.
