Hi everyone, I recently bought a 1857 Flying Eagle cent and it came with strange marks on it. I cannot determine if it is a die error or PMD. I have included a set of photos from different angles in the hopes that more experienced eyes than mine can examine it. Any feedback is appreciated. thanks!

Obvious first question - is this line raised (above the surface of the coin, as it appears), or incuse - slightly below the surface?

The line is raised above the surface of the coin. If I run my fingernail lightly over it I can feel the line. Here is another photo that shows relief.

It appears to go under the 7 and wing edge. As such I'd say it's a deep die scratch that didn't quite get into the deepest parts of the die. Otherwise I suppose the die could be cracked right in half and coin metal didn't get deep enough to show on the wing and 7?

Would be cool die crack, but seems like deliberate PMD. There's another intersecting scratch near the middle. Very sharp blade perhaps?
Cool coin. I love these and if an error, would love to add it to my collection.

Struck through foreign material perhaps?
