1986 Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC With A Strange Blob?

moose59 Pillar of the Community United States 732 Posts	Posted 03/08/2019 5:33 pm I found this 1986 LMC while coin roll hunting today. At first I thought it was just a damaged coin, but upon further inspection I have my doubts. First of all the is absolutely no damage to the rim. Secondly and I find this strange, the area with the extra metal is thinner than the surrounding area. Sort of looks like it got stuck in a copper bath! You tell me your opinions.
