Just found this rim Cud. It's my first rim Cud and my first Cud of any kind! Found in BU roll and is a great condition coin. Take a look-

To me it looks more like a fin that got folded over.

Quite nice unlisted rim Cud. Very sharp for your first Cud find. Congrats.

Thanks everyone. And I personally think that this is a rim Cud, not a folded fin. Also, I just finished hunting all my BU rolls and found two more of this exact rim Cud in amazing condition.

I should think finding two more would end all discussion of it being a folded Rim Fin. You should submit it for a possible listing on cuds-on-coins.com and get your first "discovery pc" Cud in your collection. Anyway, that's what ANACS will put on the label, and if yours are in MS-64 or better you can't go wrong slabbing the one you submit. Discovery pc is only for the one that actually ends up in the photos on cuds-on-coins.com, so use your highest grade coin for that if you plan on then submitting that coin to ANACS.

I would love to submit it. And my coins are in amazing condition, and probably above 64. I might do that someday.

At least submit it to cuds-on-coins before someone else finds one and make yours the plate coin. Doesn't add much value but a very nifty extra bit to associate with your find.

If I can I will I'd love to have a discovery piece, especially for my first find.
