Just bought his for $25.00 which I figured was good. I've wanted this coin since I started collecting, and now I have it. I couldn't get a pic of the back of the holder that was under 300 so I just didn't post it. It's in good condition and nothing's wrong with it I just can't get it uploaded. Also I'm sorry the pics of the edge aren't great, but it's hard to get good pics through the edge and through the holder.Check it out-

Forget looking at proof examples. The edge devices are added after the strike on the business strike coins. On the proof coins, the edge devices are done during the striking process. (not a separate step)

But do look at the edges of the Proof Jefferson dollars. Some of these come with the edge inscription in the wrong order.

I think $25 for the OP coin is a good deal. Plain edge coins are not that unusual but a coin that goes through the edge lettering twice with different orientations in much more unusual.
