2017 D Ellis Island Quarter Coloring And A Little More..

Tdogandmern New Member United States 13 Posts	Posted 03/10/2019 3:21 pm The coloring on this Washington is strange. My focus is the coloring right now. I just opened a new role of quarter's and this is the first thing I see. The next, is that they are all the exact same in the roll. All Ellis Island all 2017. I haven't touched the others. I took this guy from the top where he was damaged from being rolled so I could handle it freely. Report this Post to the Staff

The rest of them don't have this damage..but they are all brand new and I would rather not handle them. Ignore that damage on this coin. Tdogandmern New Member United States 13 Posts	Posted 03/10/2019 5:14 pm Thank you guys for your input:) I am taking issue with why this entire roll of quarter's are all the same weird color.Every quarter in the roll is uncirculated. Every quarter is the same mint date year and color. This one [quarter] was the ender and it is the only coin that has damage. The rest are in perfect condition. I need to know why they are this tone. He said it was struck on a mis-annealed planchet. In addition to its color the marker is a shiney Reeded edge.
