This one most closely resembles a VAM12 as it appears to have the alligator eye w/o clashing. However, there appear to be die scratches(circled) which is not characteristic of the V-12. The one scratch I feel is from the die is the one under the nose and above the lip. Anyway, any thoughts is appreciated. I hope the pics show the details well. Sellers pics and straight graded.

Dave, any thoughts on the scratches? I've looked at the V-3 and it's close. The scratches have me puzzled. Maybe I'm over analyzing them. I've posted a pic of the obverse.

The abrasions on the obverse are, I'm assuming, die file lines but there are lines on the nose that are the same direction. Puzzling.
I am convinced it's a VAM-3 with the obverse LFCP you added, I can see the die chip in the ear and the reverse image shows the die scratch on the Eagle's right wing.

I decided to buy this one just for the curiosity. We'll see when I get it.

It does have the die file lines or die scratches as in the posted photo but they are not as pronounced. It does appear as it is a V-3
