I just wondering why this coin is in different color, all Ive known this coin composed 75% silver. Any explanation of this type of coin?

Looks like coin was in a paper envelope and the color changed where it was in contact with the paper.

Agree. Silver can tarnish to many colors depending on its storage conditions.

Remember, a great deal of these pieces were dumped in the bay.

It looks a bit like saltwater conservation.

I've heard that long time ago about those coin dumped in manila bay. It might be this coin is part of it. All I know this coin was stock for decades in my late fathers cabenit. I just want to ask if there's any value premium of this type of coin?
