Help needed!! I am new to this forum but have been collecting for years, yet I haven't seen this before.
Very nice and strong clash going on here, with extra metal to the southwest on the obverse. The coin has red luster, and is in MS condition on both sides. The coin was found in a $25 box of rolled cents from my bank.
Obverse-The T of liberty has been compromised, and a portion of the right wing and the middle portion is missing. I do see what looks to be what is missing from the T sitting southwest near the rim, possibly obliterated by the clash event? The top half of the memorial statue is visible on Lincoln's neck with memorial bays. No bays are seen outside of Lincoln's bust. The memorial roof is seen left of 1983 and on a portion of the bust, but only there briefly.
Reverse- die cracks are everywhere, and spread into the memorial base, and roof. Lincoln's head is seen clashed on both sides below the base. More metal is seen on the west that appears to be shaped like capital letters hiding in between the devices. Not sure of its true identity. Will upload more pics in comments section if needed. Some pics are too large so ill have to crop more.

Here I see a split T of LIBERTY. The weak Y is normal on later die states. It is obvious that the reverse die is toasted.

Nice obverse clash.

Interesting on the T of LIBERTY.

Is the area near the bust below LIBERTY raised or incuse.
It appears raised, which would make this area die damage, but hard for me to tell what might have caused the damage.

I see possibly a clash? As far as the T in LIBERTY it took a well placed hit for it to be split almost centered. PSD.

I would say you have a die clash and die damage on both faces.

Robstargazer1997, as said, you have Die Damage on the obverse and reverse side. Also, you have a Die Crack on the reverse. It's a keeper! Make sure to put it in a 2x2 for protection and label it as "1983 P LMC With Die Damage on obverse and reverse".

Sure wish the images were a little better. That T of LIBERTY looks odd. Hard to tell if the anomaly is incuse or raised.

Wonder if some debris from what ever caused the die damage got embedded in the die recess for the T. Seems possible since there is so much die damage.
